Just saying I'm still alive.
I graduated just before Cristmas, so I'm a jobless goldsmith now. Not for long, hopefully, since I'm going to aply to Institute of Desing again, and this spring also to the University of Art and Desing Helsinki
I don't want to go to Helsinki, though, I just moved to this nice appartment with new nice, silly and accident magnet girl.
Appartment rents are expensive in Helsinki compared to Lahti, and Helsinki is anyway too big for a country girl like me, anyway.
And my webcomic project is making progres, whoo!
Or more like "ours", my little brother is headwriter now. He have almost finished first chapter, and I have sketched down the three first pages.
Meh, I can't understand people who say "I have nothing to do". I have always lots of things to do, but I just run out inspiration sometimes.

Reserve List
I received a letter in July telling me that I’ve gotten to the first place in the reserve list to the Lahti University of Applied Sciences. I’ve been waiting since then but I haven’t been offered a place… So it seems I didn’t get to school this year.
I think I did good by getting in to reserve list, considering I don’t have secondary education officially needed to study graphic design in upper secondary school.
I have time until spring before I have to decide if I want to apply again. Meanwhile I’m going to take some drawing courses.

Jewellery making as a hobby
I don't think I want to make jewellery professionally.
Yes, I have graduated as both goldsmith and jewellery designer. That means I've studied jewellery making for 8 years.
I've never enjoyed jewellery making as much as I enjoy drawing and painting. But I think the deal breaker is the fact that I will probably break my wrists if I continue making jewellery. Not so long ago my mom was diagnosed with early stage osteoarthritis in her right wrist, and well, she isn't that old, and she hasn't done much physically heavy work during her life. It's been a long time since I've been active in Deviantart. I graduated from Lahti University, and I'm officially a jewelry designer, or I would be if I had a job as one. I really haven't done any pieces of jewellery since I graduated.
Instead I've been working in yläkoulu (which is equal to junior high school in the states) as a school assistant ( or school aide or teaching assistant? There's probably a UK/States difference in the terms, and I'm not sure which is used where and if they have any other differences, but I hope you understand what kind of job I mean). Toivottavasti töitä löytyy ja pääset kouluun. Ei Helsingistä kämpän saaminen mahdotonta ole. Itse muutan just piakkoin opiskelija-asuntolaan. Syksyllä ei kyllä varmaan kannata hakea opiskelijakämppiin, kun silloin niitä ei yksinkertaisesti ole ja voi joutua ties mihin syrjäiseen ja ankeaan lähiöön.
